Welcome to our international residency programme founded in 2001.

We offer residencies for you to work on a project of your design, and to engage with our community of Wairarapa. Our residencies are only possible with the kind support of donors in our community. 

We pair you with a suitable space - most of our hosts have rural homesteads. Note that we are no longer based in Mount Bruce.

Our award-winning programme connects national & international creative practitioners with local communities, building personal practice, collective wellbeing, and creative capability through the finding and sharing of stories and processes that honour and protect our local culture, history, and environments.
