New Zealand Pacific Studio is the country's only residency centre for international and New Zealand creative practitioners - writers, visual artists, musicians, photographers and more - that is open year-round.
About 500 people have come to live and work at the centre since we opened our doors in 2001.
It's an enriching experience to be part of such a one-of-a-kind institution, which only exists because of the generosity of its sponsors, donors, volunteers and members.
A registered charity, we work on a small budget and appreciate support from friends.

--designing posters
--photographing and filming activities
--helping with gardening work
--mowing lawns
--living at the house when we have a gap between our live-in house managers
--assessing applications for Fellowships (supported residencies)
--helping with cataloging our library of books
--helping with cataloging our art collection
--hosting artists for a day trip to sites around the Wairarapa
--writing about NZ Pacific Studio for newspapers, blogs, websites, magazines, etc
--helping run our Open Studio Days in Mount Bruce (held on Sunday afternoons)
--collecting artists at the Masterton train station and driving them to Mount Bruce
--running fundraising events and assisting with grant applications
--helping at exhibitions, concerts, and other events
