The Visual Artist's studio sits just in front of the Eastern side of the main house. It comprises two stories linked by stairs: a lower work area that measures approximately 5 by 3 metres and an upper mezzanine for reading, snoozing or storage. Downstairs, one continuous wall provides an ideal plane for working, pinning/nailing, and display. The opposite wall provides a working area with a stainless steel bench and large sink. The floor is concrete, newly improved in 2015.
The studio also offers an easel, work tables, some art supplies, basic tools, small hand-press suitable for monoprinting, an electric jug, a basic stereo and its own heating.
