New Zealand Pacific Studio is an artists' residency programme located in Wairarapa and Tararua of New Zealand, employing an internationally-recognised operational model whereby a core of sponsored Fellowships are at the heart of our programme while self-funded residencies are offered to selected practitioners seeking to engage and develop their practice.
We have hosted about 500 creative practitioners from New Zealand and abroad since 2001. They have made connections that enrich their practice and our local and shared communities. Together, we build personal and collective creative capability and solidarity.
From 2001 to 2018, we operated from the historic Normandell House, in Mount Bruce. We currently operate from various homesteads across the Wairarapa and Tararua, pairing residents to the appropriate space.
