Susan di Rende is a writer, curator and film Director/Producer and was the founder of the Californian Broad Humour Festival for women screenwriters and directors who focus on the comedy, named one of the top festivals for women in the world by MovieMaker magazine in 2013. She has also programmed and managed an experimental theatre lab for performers wishing to develop and critique new material and is responsible for a number of short and feature digital films aimed at internet, film festival, and direct-to-DVD distribution. As well as an artist-in-residence, Susan is NZ Pacific Studio's House Manager, until the end of April
