Stefanie Smith is a ceramic artist based in St John's in Newfoundland, Canada. She is a full-time artist with a focus on ornament, pattern, and alternative firing techniques. While at NZPS, she is turning her passion for ornament towards her other favourite medium, felt, working on a series of wall hangings featuring endemic New Zealand birds.
