Jane Sanderson (at far right in the photograph) is a Career Registered Nurse with a degree in Archaeology. She has painted since her childhood, and has undertaken various short courses including Kew Gardens botanical course and Rosie Sanders short course, and attended the Art Crime Symposium in Wellington. She mainly paints portraits, with some landscapes and botanicals.
During her residency she says, "I would like to focus on botanicals and landscapes getting a bit looser with my watercolours in style. A quiet and uninterrupted time to persue this matter would be a fantastic opportunity."
