Leah Milanovic is a young Australian who has aspired to create all her life. Her aspirations led her into an Arts degree at Deakin University where she majored in Professional and Creative Writing, Literature, and Children’s Literature. She then furthered her study with Honours in Writing. During her degree, Leah took her studies abroad into Japan and South Korea, widening her horizons and her language ability. She is currently seeking that next step in her creative life.
She writes, "I have been reflecting on one novel idea for six years. It is angst-filled and identity driven and responds to a lot of the questions I had when I was a teenager. During my residency, I hope to make great progress on this story that is still so relevant to me today."
