Author of 6 books of poetry, 4 children’s books, and several songs, Alan Jefferies has appeared at literary festivals in Cairo, Hong Kong and Queensland.
He was awarded the 2016 Ema Saiko Poetry Fellowship at the NZ Pacific Studio during which time he worked on his seventh collection of poetry.
Alan also gave a poetry reading at Wairarapa Word and facilitated a poetry writing workshop.
