  • R.A.K. Mason Fellow 2014, wins prestigious prize
    Previous R.A.K. Mason Fellow, Tracy Farr, has won the prestigious Sunday Star Times Short Story Award. With Tracy's short story, 'Once had me,' the nearby historic Norwegian church in Mauriceville is now living well beyond the bounds of its geography and history. With thanks to Fellowship sponsors Christine Hunt Daniell and Derek Daniell, and maybe even to the late R.A.K. Mason, the namesake of the Fellowship CLOSING THIS SUNDAY, 30 November, for 2014.

  • Our call-out for applicants for the Lavinia Winter Fellowship closes on the 12th of October. If you are a woman aged under forty and are engaged with writing and/or the visual arts, be sure to apply.

    In memory of Lavinia Winter who passed away before reaching forty, the Fellowship is generously offered by the Winter family to make a difference in the life of a young woman in the early stages of her career.
